古い家を、次の暮らしへ。Icchaは京町家・古民家の橋渡しをします。Carrying old houses into their next life — Iccha bridges Kyo-machiya and kominka to those who will use them.
私たちは、空き家になりがちな町家・古民家を、住みたい人・使いたい人へつなぐことを生業としています。建物の良さを損なわずに現代の暮らしへ橋渡しし、住み継ぐための知見を蓄え、共有していく。これがIcchaの仕事です。 Icchaは、すでに京町家を一棟、自社で使い続けています。実際に住み・使う立場から得た知見をもとに、町家・古民家の活用をご提案しています。Our work is to connect machiya and kominka — which too often fall vacant — with the people who want to live and work in them. We bridge these buildings into modern life without losing what makes them good, and we gather and share the knowledge to keep them alive. That is what Iccha does. Iccha already keeps a Kyoto machiya of its own in active use. Drawing on what we have learned from actually living in and using it, we advise on how to make the most of machiya and kominka.
