Icchaの京町家——松下町の住まいからIccha's own Kyo-machiya — from our house in Matsushita
Icchaは、京都市内に一棟の京町家を所有し、自分たちで使い続けています。通りに面した格子戸、二階の虫籠窓、瓦葺きの屋根——京都の町家らしい構えをそのままに残した住まいです。
中に入ると、続き間の座敷から坪庭の緑が見え、吹き抜けには太い梁が渡されています。実際に住み・使う立場から得た知見を、町家・古民家の活用のご提案に活かしています。気になる方は、お問い合わせよりご連絡ください。Iccha owns a single Kyo-machiya in the city and keeps it in active use ourselves. The lattice doors facing the street, the mushiko windows on the second floor, the tiled roof — it keeps the form of a classic Kyoto town house intact.
Step inside and the greenery of a small courtyard shows through the connecting tatami rooms, while stout beams span the open ceiling above.
